Grace Built Foundation exists because every person with special needs deserves to be seen, heard, and fully supported — with dignity, warmth, and a community that truly has their back.
“A special heart for the special needs community.”
Grace Built Foundation was born out of a deep love for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — and a recognized need for a warm, person-centered space where families and individuals could find real support without judgment.
We saw the gaps: families navigating complex systems alone, individuals longing for community, parents searching for resources with no one to guide them. So we stepped in — not just as advocates, but as neighbors, friends, and a second family.
Based in Lubbock, Texas, everything we do is grounded in the belief that every person — regardless of ability — deserves dignity, respect, and a community that celebrates who they are.
Every interaction, every resource, every hug — these are the principles behind all of it.
Every person who comes through our doors is met with genuine warmth. We lead with grace, not bureaucracy — because people matter more than processes.
We meet individuals where they are. Every plan, every resource, every conversation is tailored to the unique person in front of us — not a diagnosis or a file number.
No family should navigate this journey alone. We build safe, connected communities where parents, caregivers, and individuals can find each other and grow together.
We refuse to reduce anyone to their disability. Every individual is a full, valued human being, and we advocate fiercely for their right to be treated as such in every space.
We stand in the gap — navigating systems, amplifying voices, and making sure individuals and families know their rights and have someone in their corner.
We invest in lives, not statistics. Our goal is deep, sustained change — for the individuals we serve today, and for the community they leave behind.
From young children to adults, from parents to caregivers — our doors are open to everyone touched by the special needs journey.
Every child deserves a world that celebrates them. We connect families to early intervention resources, therapy supports, and a community that truly sees their child — not their diagnosis.
Adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve full, dignified, self-determined lives. We advocate for inclusion, independence, and access to the supports that make that possible.
Caregiving is both a privilege and a challenge. Our parent support groups, resource navigation, and community events ensure that families never have to carry this journey alone.

We continue to mourn, honor, and cherish his
memory.
Grace Built Foundation carries the spirit of our baby brother, Bura, who lived with special needs and cerebral palsy. His life remains close to our hearts and is part of the inspiration behind our continued desire to serve and support the special needs population with compassion, warmth, and dignity. This foundation is built, in part, in his memory.
Grace Built Foundation isn’t a program you rotate through. We’re a community you belong to. Our commitment to every individual and family we serve is unwavering, person-centered, and built to last.
